It is hard to believe that we are 1/2 way through camp already. Again today was a typical Day Like Yesterday (Read the last post to get an idea of the order of the day) Here are the things that are different.
The Bible Lesson was about how God chooses us. Mattie did the lesson and most of the team helped with a skit called the King of Hearts. The kids really liked it!
At the sea the kids worked on a scavenger hunt and also liked this. The hardest thing that was found was a sea horse! And I learned some random facts like the word for bone and peach pit are the same in Russian.
In the afternoon we did interest groups. The kids loved the choices, Plastic Lacing Bracelets, Cross crafts, coloring, dance, how to make balloon animals (The best part is that the teacher - Darren was also learning on the spot!) and of course soccer.
The craft was friendship books and we kept the kids in the dinning hall signing books while their counselors hid. Which was the final game of the night. To find their counselors.
